Hell Frozen Over

Fallen Dark Angel banner.  If there's one thing to me that instantly makes a miniature army cool and unique, it's a banner. They've been synonymous with Warhammer since I was a kid flicking through old editions of rulebooks and White Dwarf. I love seeing the freehand designs hobbyists come up with to decorate their lil guys on the battlefield and provide a splash of colour, narrative, or humour. Welcome to Hell Frozen Over!  I'm Tim and I'm from Melbourne, Australia. This is my blog that'll document the parts of my hobby that I can be bothered sharing. You can expect to read about the miniatures I'm building/painting, the games that I've played, people I've hung out with, and events that I've attended.   Why a blog?  Honestly, I've just had enough of Instagram. The ads, reels, and all the other content that an inhuman algorithm has decided to feed me has made me hate the app. There are incredible artists and creators online, but it's no longer worth sacrificing the autonomy I hold over my own engagement for the occasional offering from the accounts that I like.  Will this blog last long? Who knows. I've spent a week trying to figure out how to create it.
